I don't think anything like the Holocaust could happen over here. Sure there are many big issues over here, alot of them political. Sure history may be bound to repeat itself, but even if something as awful as the Holocaust did happen again, I hardly believe it will happen over here. We have freedom of speech and freedom of religion, which means a certain religion that is aimed to be wiped out is won't be possible here because the Constitution says that we have freedom of religion and we can't go back on that. So a certain religion to be killed like in the Holocaust won't ever happen here. We also have the freedom of speech so whatever political thing that may or may not affect our nation can be said freely. So no political groups can be killed for their views. We also have the right to Bear Arms. That means many Americans without some sort of weapons, they would be powerless if our government ever had to rule by force. Any certain target aimed to be destroyed has the right to defend themselves if that group was forcefully taken. So with our freedoms that another country may not have, a genocide by our own government doesn't seem likey. In the event a genocide happens here, the government would be going against the Constitution.
