Othello iPodlist

For this project, I choose Othello. In the play, his "friend" Iago is schemeing to ruin Othello. Iago tells lies to Othello about Desdemona about having an affair with Cassio. Othello is mixed up in his emotions. He's feeling angry and hurt because of the lies Iago is telling him. For this character, I picked out for songs that describe his feelings.

 The song Everybody Hurts, to go with the play Othello, is about Othello feeling heartbroken and hurt over the lies. Othello was so hurt he murdered Desdemona

 For Try, Othello had married Desdemona because But they didn't know of the consequences that would occur. The lines "Where there is desire, there's gonna be a flame, and where there is a flame someone's bound to get burned." would go to Othello because he fell in love with Desdemona, and where's there's love there's always bound to be consequences, and from the consequences, Desdemona was murdered on the lies involved.

 For Hey Hude, to match the play, Othello was heartbroken and in emotional pain because of Iago. He wanted to believe that the evidence that Iago presented to him wereb false, but to Othello, it was all very real.

 For I'm looking through You, Othello realized that his good friend Iago had decieved him so Othello could murder Desdemona and Iago could attempt to kill Cassio.
