5 websites for Othello

I would most likely use sparknotes and william-shakespeare as main sources for help understand Othello and other Shakespeare plays in the future.

To Chardonnay on personal connection with A Rasin in the Sun

Your relation to A rasin in the Sun was very like what happened in the story. It was good.

Personal Connection to A Rasin in the Sun

In A Rasin in the Sun, the family had a poor life; Travis had to sleep on their sofa and everyone had to share a shower on their apartment floor. With their lives like that, they couldn't accomplish their dreams. Walter wished to own a liqour store and Beneathea wanted to be a doctor. To relate, my dad wanted to work as a nurse but with jobs hard to find, it's hard to earn the money we need. My mom dreamed of being a professional horse rider, but she's stuck working at a fruit and vegetable stand. It seems like dreams in my family go unrealized like in the story

My Dream

What I said for my dream was to follow your heart. I would live somewhere in Germany and I play a guitar and sing with a small group. A typical day would be sitting in my house with the group, talking, playing, and deciding over ideas for a song. I would e-mail my family and friends everyday. I would go visit them on major holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. Their support would help me keep playing. I wouldn't own many valuable possessions because I would hope to travel around. I would only need little objects because I would be living alone. But my most very valuable would by my guitar and I would keep it close to me just in case inspiration would to ever come along. I wouldn't care if I didn't become famous. The money isn't the thing that would pull me in to the music world but the music itself. I wouldn't care for the money but as long I play. I've wanted to be a musician since I was in fourth grade and had played my first instrument then. So ever since I wanted to sing and play a guitar. This would make me feel so accomplished and satisfied to know what I've worked so hard for has turned from dream to reality. To feel like you have accomplished your most wanted dream would make the rest of your life even better.

American Dream

The first author defines the Dream as equality and the second author defines the Dream as a simple question of what the profeesion of a stranger is. The second author used a comparison of very two different jobs to make their poit: people that work as lawyers are sterotyped as rich, drive fancy cars, and earn huge paychecks while a person in the fast food buisness is sterotyped to have a low pay and is not as happy as the lawyer. While the first author used history as their point. They used quotes and speeches from Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, John Winthrop, and Franklin Rooselvelt. I would have to say that the second author made more sense. Their point was more clear than the first. I believe the comparisons made more sense and understanding to me.
