I found the Rwanda genocide for my research. Ifound out that more than 800,000 men, women, and children died in this genocide from 1994. There is also more than 20,000 documents, photographs, and some videos of this genocide. I think this was a very terrible and sad thing to hear about. Many survivors feel that it's heartbreaking that some other fellow survivors deny what happened what happened to their families, friends, and their people. This issue makes me wonder about our own future. Would something like the Rwanda genocide and the Holocaust ever happen to any people of a certain race, ethiniticity, or religion here? If so, will we ever be prepared?

Mrs.Katie,
ReplyDeletei really like the description of this post. I also like how you put questions in the post to make the reader think.
How long did this genocide last and what were their reason for starting it? why did they kill so many people? Who was the target?
